Your privacy is important to us. At Intensity Analytics, we are working hard to protect your privacy while delivering products that bring you game-changing insight into the performance of people, teams, projects, applications and machine resources. This privacy statement explains many of the data collection and use practices of the Intensity Analytics Client Monitor (“Client Monitor”) software application. It does not apply to other online or offline Intensity Analytics sites, products, or services.
The Client Monitor gathers information about software use, background processes, network activity, user behavior and energy use, and transmits an encrypted log to the Intensity Analytics servers on a periodic basis. It also contains features that collect certain standard information from your computer and sends it to Intensity Analytics. Such standard information includes data about your computer, such as your IP address, operating system, Web browser software, and version numbers. We use this non-identifying and aggregate information to produce reports and databases about computer usage across many users. It does not index or record text you type, passwords or the content of documents or images displayed on your computer.
When we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you, we will explicitly ask you for it, such as the information you may have provided when registering the Client Monitor, which is used for providing your individual report access. In corporate environments, management may control access to this information through enterprise licenses. We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
By operating the Client Monitor, you accept this privacy statement, and agree to send log data to Intensity Analytics. You agree the personal information that we collect from you may be used by Intensity Analytics to provide the service(s) you have requested or authorized, and it may also be used to request additional information on feedback that you provide about the service that you are using; to provide critical updates and notifications regarding the pre-release software; or to improve the service.
Intensity Analytics may access or disclose information about you, including the content of your communications, in order to: (a) comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of Intensity Analytics or our customers, including the enforcement of our agreements or policies governing your use of the services; or (c) act on a good faith belief that such access or disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of Intensity Analytics employees, customers, or the public. We may also disclose personal information as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Information collected by the Client Monitor is encrypted during the transmission to the Intensity Analytics’ servers.
Information that is collected by or sent to Intensity Analytics may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Intensity Analytics or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or service providers maintain facilities. Intensity Analytics abides by the safe harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union, the European Economic Area, and Switzerland.
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
